Project Description
Kaiser Permanente directly contracted with Athena Engineering for the mechanical system replacement on this Kaiser Medical Office Building, located in the City of Inglewood. The facility serves as a medical office for an after hour clinic, family medicine, internal medicine, laboratory, pediatrics, pharmacy, physical therapy and radiology/ diagnostic imaging.
Athena Engineering was awarded and provided the design build of plans and engineering for all mechanical, structural, controls and electrical. Following the engineering, Athena Engineering demolished the existing system and installed new air handlers, chiller, boiler, piping and controls. This project was done in two different shifts, including days, nights and weekends to accommodate all operations of the medical office building.
