For context: Athena is 41. Which means Brian has been here for almost the entire ride — back when "the company" was a fraction of what it is now.
Make no mistake, you don`t get 35 years out of someone by accident. You get it with real work, people worth working beside, and a place worth coming back to every morning.
Brian would hate a big speech, so we`ll keep it simple: thank you. For the years, for the steadiness, and for sticking around long enough to literally become part of the foundation.

Yes, we`re late to the party… and late posting about the party. But hey, fashionably late is still a vibe, right? Here`s proof we work hard and play harder (and that we can occasionally step away from our desks). 🍹🎉
A couple weeks ago we celebrated 2024 with our annual New Year party at Topgolf. Rookie of the Year hardhats were awarded (congrats Reynaldo and Kyle) and the Team Member of the Year G.O.A.T. was awarded to Karina Gutierrez. We also celebrated the newest recipients of the Athena Engineering Titan Jacket - Matt Brock, Matt Page, and Luis Ochoa. These jackets are awarded to team members once they reach their 10-year anniversary!
Our golf games were questionable, but we certainly know how to have a good time!

Our own Athena Chiera and Cayla Fujita-Haffner spoke to the 40 (yup, 40!) high school girls interested in a job in HVAC, Refrigeration or Building Automation. At the career meet up we connected with over 250 awesome HS students interested in unique career paths. What a great day!

Hands-on outreach to middle and high school students. Tape measures, tool kits, and what it actually means to build something.
Community Colleges & Workforce Partners
Athena Chiera sits on the HVAC advisory board at Mt. San Antonio College. Plus partnerships with NAWIC, WiOPS, Girls Inc., and local apprenticeship programs that train women into the trades.
