Kaiser Fontana Medical Center Chemical Dependency Recovery Program HVAC

This design-build project with Kaiser Permanente included the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering for the removal and replacement of the HVAC at a chemical dependency recovery program (CDRP) in Fontana, CA. The Kaiser CDRP provides inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment services, detoxification, partial hospitalization and counseling.

Following the engineering portion of the project, Athena Engineering, Inc. served as the prime contractor and lead for the project. The scope included:

 The tight schedule allowed for 20 days of construction, which included two crane lifts and shutdown of equipment in rapid succession.
