If you intend to bid on projects in which your scope value is over $75,000, we require you to be BONDABLE. This means that you can provide a bond to us upon request. If you’re shortlisted for a project with an awarded subcontract value of over $75,000 you will be required to send us a letter of bondability showing proof of bondability and limits. The letter should name the company providing bonds, your aggregate/single project limits, a brief statement of your bond history, and the amount of capacity you have currently available. If you’ve bid public works projects before, you’ve probably requested this type of letter hundreds of times.
