Project Description
As part of Athena Engineering, Inc.’s Job Order Contract with Los Angeles Unified School District, we were engaged to manage the installation of new entryway pavers for this keystone campus in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. In the tight one-month compressed schedule during the summer vacation months, Athena Engineering and our team of subcontractors demolished and excavated over 1,600 square feet of existing bricks and concrete. Following demolition, we managed the installation of new concrete curbs and permeable pavers to reduce flooding during the rainy months.
